absolutely anyone
over the age of
8 years old,
and is central to
Theatre of Adventure's
creative hub.

The sessions
involve core skills
of timing and focus
at the same time as
allowing play and
truthfulness.

Comedy is the art of being a Loser. Our society gives
the message that failure is wrong. However in comedy that
message is turned on its head -
we love the loser because we see their vulnerability and
recognise the loser in ourselves. Getting it wrong is getting a
laugh. Comedy is the art of lovability -
but it takes real bravery to show vulnerability.
When we become less afraid to look stupid we become more
free and open. If we don’t get things wrong – we don’t learn.
