Charlotte has spent several months studying the Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) and has developed imaginative, experiential and practicable training for practitioners using music, singing and playfulness to enable and enhance children’s learning through creative play. |  |

The ground breaking Priory Children’s Centre in Great Yarmouth commissioned Charlotte (who is the resident early year music specialist) and Liz Jones (a Music Therapist) to develop and deliver a programme of training to early year practitioners in how to use singing and playfulness to raise levels in all aspects of the EYFS curriculum particularly literacy and PSE. | |
| The music programme is one part of four strands that the Priory ran throughout 2009. Government statistics show a rise in levels of PSE and literacy in the area where the project has taken place! |  |
